I had fun creating this under-the-sea birthday cake! I used gummy sharks and graham crumbs, and I made the octopus with pieces of cake and fondant.


A cake for the pinkest wedding I have ever attended!

The wedding was beautiful, every detail meticulously planned. Although it poured during the ceremony in the church, the sky cleared and the sun gleamed in on us during the reception overlooking the Northwest Arm.

The cake was the bride's favourite, red velvet with cream cheese frosting; covered in white gumpaste flowers. The amount of pink color in the frosting gave it a slightly bitter taste--note to self when planning bright pink or red frosting!

summer wedding

This one is from July--where did the summer go? This tower was for my wonderful brother-in-law and amazing new sister-in-law...200 carrot cupcakes smothered in cream cheese frosting and sprinkled with sparkly sugar.
