Last night my table was completely covered in parchment laden with a rainbow of melted chocolate hearts...I should have snapped a photo of that! It made me smile, just looking at it. So then this morning began with the delicious aroma of carrot cake and sweet vanilla cake baking up into lovely little cuppies for this display. I piped them with vanilla buttercream (the pink was raspberry vanilla...mmm), edged them in sparkly sugar, and adorned each with a colored chocolate heart. The brides waited patiently until last to be dressed in their sugary gowns, ready to walk down the aisle--er, throat--and live happily ever after!
Neich...again you are awesome!!!!! I would really love to get a cake for Victoria... i am wondering about Monday. We
ReplyDelete(actually Bekah and Justin) are taking her to the Discovery center in Halifax for her birthday on Monday, and we are tagging along. She has been saving for a bike and right now loves her cat Latte, and the littlest Pet Shop. Are there any ideas there you could work with to design something? I know it is kind of last minute too. Anyway if your kidlets or Joey's could meet us on Monday afternoon and we could borrow someone's table... maybe we could share the cake??? Does that sound like something that might work. I love you ... you most amazing artist xoxoxxoxoxox
